“The Church Rejected Prosperity AND Power And Satan Filled the Void”

WATCH THE FULL EPISODE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUbNQCJyr40&t=1s In this eye-opening conversation, we confront two areas the modern Church has abandoned: biblical prosperity and biblical deliverance. Rick Hansen reveals how believers are hardwired for the supernatural and for abundance because Eden, not lack, was our original home. Yet when pastors avoid the power of God, downplay spiritual warfare, or teach a poverty gospel, people drift toward counterfeit sources of identity, provision, and “blessing.” From demonic trades that cost marriages and children, to churches terrified of the very ministry Jesus made central, this episode exposes the legal agreements the enemy uses and the covenant God offers instead—one that blesses without sorrow. This is a wake-up call to reclaim authority, embrace the full Gospel, and step into the Kingdom life we were designed for. #directedlife #kingdomcontent #christianpodcast 🤍 Want to partner with my ministry financially? 👉 https://kapchatfield.com/give 🚩Pre- Order My Book: The Power to Prosper: https://amzn.to/3Jlm3ku 🚀 Build A Bulletproof Personal Brand That Changes Lives And Makes Money. The modern Church has traded its birthright for a religious form that denies the actual power of God.

We were designed for the atmosphere of Eden, which was a place of total abundance and direct communion with the Father. But somewhere along the way, we started apologizing for the supernatural and romanticizing lack.

The Vacuum of Power

When the Church retreats from the ministry of deliverance, the enemy does not quit his assignment. He simply finds a new address.

Satan is a squatter who moves in wherever authority is not being exercised. If believers refuse to cast out demons and heal the sick, the world doesn’t stop looking for spiritual solutions.

They just look in the wrong places. They turn to psychics, crystals, and New Age rituals because they are hungry for a power the Church told them no longer exists.

Nature abhors a vacuum. That means if the pulpit is empty of the Holy Spirit's power, the void will be filled by the demonic.

We see this in the surge of occultism among the youth. They aren't looking for a better lighting rig or a relevant sermon series.

They are looking for a supernatural reality that can actually change their lives. Because we handed over the keys to the supernatural realm, they are opening doors that lead to destruction.

The Counterfeit Covenant

Prosperity is not a dirty word, but the religious spirit has convinced us that poverty is a prerequisite for holiness.

This is a lie designed to keep Kingdom builders broke and ineffective. When we reject biblical prosperity, we force people to seek provision through demonic trades.

People will sacrifice their marriages, their children, and their integrity to get the wealth they feel they were wired for. This is what happens when the Church stops teaching that God wants to bless His people for the sake of the Covenant.

Deuteronomy 8:18 "And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day."

The power to get wealth is an endowment from the Holy Spirit. It is given to establish the Kingdom on earth, not just to buy a bigger house.

When we refuse this power, we leave the finance of the world in the hands of those who hate the Gospel. We allow the enemy to fund his agendas while we scrounge for leftovers.

The Cost of the Poverty Gospel

A poverty gospel is a direct attack on the character of God as a Provider. It suggests that the Father is a miser who wants His children to suffer so they stay humble.

But the Bible tells a different story about the nature of Kingdom blessing. It is meant to be a testimony of His goodness that draws the world to repentance.

Proverbs 10:22 "The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it."

Satan’s "blessing" always comes with sorrow. It comes with a heavy price tag of anxiety, broken relationships, and spiritual bondage.

God’s blessing is different because it is rooted in identity, not just transaction. It flows from a place of peace and spiritual authority.

If we don't reclaim this truth, we will continue to see believers crippled by debt and defeated by the spirit of Mammon. You cannot take back culture if you are a slave to the world's economic system.

Reclaiming Our Legal Authority

Spiritual warfare is not a metaphor or a suggestion for the "super-spiritual" few. It is the baseline reality for every follower of Jesus Christ.

The reason so many Christians are stuck is that they have legal agreements with the enemy that haven't been broken. They are trying to pray away problems that require a direct exercise of authority.

Deliverance was central to the ministry of Jesus. He didn't just teach the crowds; He set the captives free.

Matthew 10:8 "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give."

This is the standard for the Church. When we ignore this command, we leave people in chains while we offer them a motivational speech.

We have to stop being terrified of the very power Jesus gave us to use. It is time to step back into the legal authority of the believer and evict the enemy from our homes, our finances, and our minds.

The void is there because the Church left its post. It's time to take it back.

The Kingdom of God is not in word only, but in power.
